Me: "Hi, I'd like to register my bike."
Lady at Police Station: "Sorry, we closed 30 minutes ago."
Me: "So will my bike be impounded tonight?"
Lady at Police Station: "Most likely."
Me: "And there's nothing I can do?"
Lady at Police Station: "No."

TUESDAY
Me: (after registering my bike) "So I heard that bikes will be impounded if they are left here between Summer and Fall Semester."
Lady at Police Station: "Yes, that's right."
Me: "Well then what do I do if I have to live here during that time?"
Lady at Police Station: "I guess it might be impounded."
